Help us reach €2,000/month to secure a Bank Loan
Many companies offer corporate matching programmes, where they match donations made by their employees to registered charities or community projects.
If you feel inspired to support the establishment of a permanent Vipassana centre in Ireland, you may wish to check whether your employer offers donation matching. This can double the impact of your contribution, helping us reach our goal more quickly.
If your employer requires any additional information to facilitate a matching donation, please feel free to contact us.
We are registered with Benevity and Goodstack.
We are registered with Benevity.

Many companies offer various ways for employees to support the charities they care about. Some of these options include:
Volunteering: Employees can dedicate a certain number of hours to volunteering during their work time (for example: Google Serve event). Usually, co-located teams would use this as an opportunity to come together and serve for the cause. Companies might also donate money for every hour served (for example, 10 USD for every hour the employee volunteered). If you would like to volunteer with Vipassana Meditation Centre, you can apply to serve a course, either full-time or part-time or potentially you could take on a remote project as per the company's needs.
Donation Matching: Companies offer the possibility of matching every donation given by an employee. For example, I donated X EUR during my 3 day vipassana course; I submitted this on the internal website and the company will match the same amount of donation and will transfer the funds through third party supplier Benevity. Third party suppliers (like Benevity) take a fee to administer donations.
Holiday Giving Campaigns: Companies might assign X00 USD credit for their employees to donate for the charities of their choice as part of Holiday giving Campaigns. Usually, companies will have a dedicated timeline to run these campaigns (e.g. 2-3 weeks). Employees create a campaign for a cause they would like to encourage their colleagues to donate towards and then promote it internally (e.g. via email, in team meetings, etc). After the campaign is over, the company transfers the funds through 3rd party supplier to the charity.
An old student who works at Google ran a campaign there to raise funds for a permanent Vipassana centre during Google's Holiday Giving Campaign.
Details:
The old students created a campaign and microsite with an overview of the cause.
The campaign was aimed at Google employees who were also old students globally to donate towards the establishment of a permanent Vipassana centre in Ireland.
They sent out an internal invitation to donate to their Holiday Giving Campaign credit for this cause.
The campaign ran for 3 weeks
Result:
€1500+ was raised for the Irish Vipassana Trust during this campaign
